Temporary Pop Up Restaurant # 4 Is Tomorrow!

The great folks at Temporary are putting on their 4th pop up restaurant tomorrow evening (Saturday 29th November)

This month’s event is being held at G1 Library, Leeds Rd, Sheffield, S9 3TY and the culinary delights are being provided by a small family run business, The Mussel Pot, who specialise in cooking fresh mussels in a variety of homemade sauces along with other fresh seafood delicacies. The menu is looking fantastic (see below) with something for non seafood eaters as well as people who sea food and eat it. 😉

Temporary Restaurant is a pop-up restaurant concept, creating a fully functional restaurant in unusual venues across the city of Sheffield.

Attendees are treated to a two-course menu catered by a different independent street food vendor each month. Temporary also works closely with local brewers to ensure we are showcasing the best independents the city and region have to offer.

This month Temporary Restaurant is popping up at G1 Library, Leeds Rd, Sheffield S9 3TY. Prepare for a little taste of the seaside as we transport you through taste, sight, and sound.

As always, beers are provided by yours truly, The Brew Foundation, and there will be the full array of bottled beers including our new beer Pop, plus Laughing Water, Hops & Dreams, First Light, Bitter That and Little Bitter That.



Lobster Bisque (GF)
Served with crusty French Bread or Gluten Free Bread

Creamy Garlic Mushrooms (V,GF)
Served with toasted brioche or Gluten Free Bread


Moules Frites (GF)
Fresh Rope Grown Shetland Blue Shell Mussels, steamed in a Moules Mariniere sauce of white wine, cream & garlic served with skinny fries.

Boeuf a la Bourguignonne (GF)
Translated as Beef Bourguignon, this traditional French stew is prepared by braising beef in red wine and a beef broth. Served with Dijon mustard mash.

Spinach & Gruyere Crustless Quiche (V,GF)
Served with Frites & Side Salad


Brioche or French Bread

The last of the summer fruits with Vanilla Cream, Meringue pieces & homemade fruit coulis

Cheese Board
A selection of French cheeses served with grapes, caramelised onions & crackers.
