It’s Wincle Beer Festival 2017 next weekend.

Next weekend, Friday 30th June and Saturday 1st July, it’s the annual Wincle Beer Festival 2017. As you know Wincle is where we cuckoo brew out of so there are plenty of Brew Foundation beers on the bar including C Bomb, Pop, First Light, Laughing Water and Janet’s Treat Porter.

Now in its third year, the Wincle Beer Festival really is one of the best, and most picturesque, beer festivals in the country. There will be over 30 beers and ciders available plus this year there will be a gin bar too! Food and soft drinks are also available all weekend and there is music from a variety of live bands.

If you want to make a weekend of it there are the last few camping pitches available, so act fast if you want to stay over.

The festival is located at Wincle brewery which overlooks the river Dane in the picture perfect Peak District village of Wincle. For map location click here.

To find out more visit Wincle Beer’s website or call 01260 227 777 to book a camping pitch.

Two amazing beer festivals this week

This week, two of our favourite CAMRA branches are holding their annual beer festivals and there are Brew Foundation beers at both!

The Stoke Beer and Cider Festival is taking place at Fenton Manor Sports Complex from Thursday 20th to Saturday 22nd October, and the Sheffield Beer and Cider Festival is taking place at Kelham Island Museum from Wednesday 19th October to Saturday 22nd October.

At the Stoke Beer Festival there will be Hops & Dreams and Little Bitter That, and at the Sheffield Beer Festival there will be Pop and Little Bitter That.

Both festivals have a mind boggling range of beers, ciders and meads on offer, with Sheffield also having a keg bar! There is entertainment and food at both but be aware: make sure you get there early in order to avoid disappointment because both events are incredibly popular. We’d hate for all the beer to have gone by the time your arrive.

There will be over 20 real ales, craft keg beers and real ciders on offer, all properly served on hand pull or keg tap to ensure the best quality beer drinking experience. As well as beer, there is food, live music, camping and…the ever popular tug of war!

The event takes place over the 24th and 25th June at the picturesque setting of Wincle Brewery, Tolls Farm Barn, Dane Bridge, Wincle, SK11 0QE. It starts at 6pm on Friday 24th June and again at 1pm on Saturday 25th June.

There will be of course all our beers on offer plus we’ve sourced some great brews from our friends at some fantastic breweries from the Sheffield area such as a Neepsend Brew Co/Hop Jacker collaboration, Blue Bee Brewery and Little Critters Brewery. Wincle Beer Co have sourced some fantastic beers from their friends at the awesome Ran Ales, Rudgate Brewery and Bollington Brewing Co.

To soak up all that beer, mouth watering food is on offer from Gloucester Old Spot BBQ all day on Saturday.

There will be live music throughout the daytime from some great acoustic and folk artists and on Saturday evening it gets turned up a notch as Sheffield blues rockers The Ruby Blues play from 7pm and Leek’s pop rockers The Tetleys play from 9pm.

The tug of war competition takes place at 2pm on the Saturday. You are of course welcome to just rock up to pitch your tent and join in the fun but if you would like to find out more or pre-book a team into the tug of war then please just get in touch: 01260 227 777 (Wincle Beer Co) or 0114 282 3098 (The Brew Foundation)
