Brew Foundation bar at Sheffield Students’ Union Beer Festival this weekend

This Bank Holiday weekend is another busy one for us here at The Brew Foundation. We’re working hard so you don’t have to! We’re attending three events over the course of the weekend. The first is the fantastic Sheffield Students’ Union and Real Ale Society Beer and Cider Festival:

We’re bringing our mobile bar selling First Light, Hops & Dreams and Bitter That on draught hand pull, and Hops & Dreams and Hop & Glory on keg tap.

Our bar will be just outside the Raynor Lounge entrance in the beer garden outside Bar One. Make sure you pay us a visit.

The festival starts at 2pm on Friday 29th April in the beer garden of Sheffield Students’ Union and there are over 100 real ales, craft beers, pilsners, fruit beers, lagers, ciders and a whole load of great food!

Non students are welcome as well as students from all universities, plus entrance is free!

This mammoth events runs from Friday through to Sunday and here are some of the highlights:

As well as more than 100 Real Ales, Lagers, Craft Beers, Pilsners, Fruit Beers and Ciders, this year’s festival will see the return of the popular German themed bar, serving Steins of Pilsner, Bratwurst and Lederhosen, with Friday designated German day.

Brand new for 2016 – Craft Beer, Bourbon and BBQ! Who doesn’t love Craft Beer and American themed food? Great beers, burgers, pulled pork and a load of BBQ sauce to mop it up!

As is tradition, Sunday is Pig and Cider Day, with a free range hog roast served by Roneys of Sheffield.
There will also be a ‘pop-up’ Gin bar serving craft Gins with complementing tonics and garnishes on Friday and Saturday of this year’s festival (while stocks last).

There will be live music all weekend at this year’s festival!

For further information visit the official Facebook page here.

We hope to see you there!

Brew Foundation beers now permanently at Craft and Dough

We’re very proud to announce that Brew Foundation beers are now permanently on tap at both Craft and Dough sites; at Kelham Island and at Ecclesall Road, Sheffield.

After the success of the Hop & Glory launch event last Thursday at the Kelham Island Craft and Dough, it has been agreed that The Brew Foundation will be a permanent fixture on their bars! (Woo-hoo!)

This basically means that there will always be at least one Brew Foundation beer on draught plus bottles of all our beers will also always be available. We’ll constantly rotate the draught selection so you’re always getting something new but you can rest assure that you can now always get a pint of Brew Foundation craft beer with your favourite artisan pizza!

The other awesome news is that we’ll do launch events for all our new beers at Craft and Dough with free tasters, unique Brew Foundation pizzas, and meet the brewer nights. Our next beer, that we’re working on now, will be a porter; so keep your eyes peeled for that in the next 6 weeks.

We’re so excited to partner with such a great brand and we look forward to cooking up a storm with these guys and gals.

More info about Craft and Dough and their awesome pizzas and beers can be found here.
